CBDV

(Cannabidivarin)

About

CBDV (Cannabidivarin) is an exciting market up-and-comer among hemp’s cannabinoid lineup.

CBDV is the decarboxylated form of CBDVA, a chemical homolog of the usually predominant compound CBDA. It naturally occurs in smaller quantities than its better-known, shorter-named, longer-structured cousin.

At MBAF, we are currently piloting two high-CBDV crops in 2021, hoping to make them commercially-available in 2022.

Potential Uses & Benefits

With anti-pain/anxiety/depression effects similar to most of its cannabinoid cohort, CBDV continually gets special mention for its potential anti-epileptic and anti-convulsive effects.

Also like CBD and unlike THC, CBDV users do not experience an intoxicating high after use.

Forbidden V - high CBDV strain

Forbidden V strain. Naturally-high in CBDVA and great source of CBDV.
